Change management resources to support your team

REACH is a people-led change management framework. It helps people and organisations collaborate to adopt new ways of working.

There are many change management frameworks available, and different approaches will suit different teams and organisations. We recommend REACH for helping your teams adopt AI coding tools because it:

  • uses a staged approach to help you adapt your support based on what your teams need at each stage
  • helps you recognise and welcome resistance to understand what is blocking adoption
  • provides teams with targeted support to comfortably move beyond resistance
  • ensures individual actions and organisational support progress at the same pace

Our change leads work with AI champions and sponsors to provide personalised support at each stage of the adoption journey.

Explore the Knowledge Hub

When you begin working with AI Engineering Lab, your team will get access to the Knowledge Hub. This is a space to:

  • learn about the REACH framework and access resources
  • access a calendar of events and join training sessions
  • engage with and learn from peers in other organisations

You need a government or public sector email address to sign up. Personal email addresses are not accepted.

Register your interest

To register your interest, email gdsengineeringexcellence@dsit.gov.uk.

You should provide information about:

  • your reason for wanted to work with us, such as implementing tooling within your team
  • what AI Engineering Lab can support you with, such as knowledge-sharing, adoption support, and AI licenses
  • the size of your engineering team and a brief description of the work they're doing
  • your team's capacity to work with AI Engineering Lab over the next month
